Law Enforcement

Organized Law Enforcement that Makes a Difference

The Minnesota Teamsters Law Enforcement League (MNTLEL) is dedicated to protecting the rights and privileges of its members.  MNTLEL members consist of those employed by a county sheriff, police chief, or state and county public safety and corrections departments.  As a fraternal, non-partisan division of Teamsters Local 320, MNTLEL advises the Local on issues regarding legislation, representation and training for law enforcement members.

Joining MNTLEL allows you and your fellow officers to have a stronger voice regarding how you are treated at work.  In addition, becoming a member of this fraternal organization provides you with more leverage to secure improved wages, hours, working conditions and other economic advantages through MNTLEL's organizational, negotiation and collective bargaining expertise.  And, MNTLEL membership is included in your Local 320 membership dues.

If you are involved in a critical incident you should immediately call the Teamsters Local 320 Critical Incident Hotline at 1-800-206-1491.

A live operator will take your name and contact information. He or she will contact a representative from the Union. The representative will then call you directly.
